Why can’t all the people in the world revert to my religion so it is a better place for all?

Why does everyone not convert to my religion to make the world a better place?

Good question. Why? Except that it is not the religion that lifts us up; it is our thoughts and actions.

All humans are not born alike; the difference is in race, gender, religion, nationality and so on and most importantly our "stage of spiritual development".

Our level on the ladder of spiritual learning is is what defines our character.

Like any other subject, spirituality too is a subject that we learn and master over a period of time. This process may span a sequence of many lives.

Which is why, we have one individual, who slices a neck off without batting an eyelid, while there is another, who hurts if he had accidentally stomped on an insect.

Both of them look alike, but on the inside, they are vastly different. One is in the lowest rung while the other is somewhere at the top.

Whether we agree, whether we like it or not, the Universe is one single alive and responsive entity, which is designed (whoever designed it) to respond to our actions; good, bad and ugly.

Even if everyone converts to any one religion, it is the attitude of the people with one another and with Nature per se, which will determine the survival of the species.

In any case, Hunger and Malnutrition are probably the most potent killers in this world; killings in the name of religion isn’t.

Religions are one of the methods to encourage us all to lead lives which are beneficial to others.

And, finally, when everybody is ultimately concerned about others’ well-being, why do we need religion at all?
