If God knows everything, God knows the future. So, how can there be free will?

Humans are the catalyst, God isn't

God knows everything. So, why do we pray? What is the point? Then what is free will? Why is it my fault?

These are some of the many questions that are the basis of not believing in God. Or the resultant confusion in the case of believers.

It is easy to blame God for every bad thing that happens.
But, we are conveniently forgetting that humans are the catalyst in all things, good and bad that are happening in this world.

By the way, God (this is a disputed topic, we will discuss this elsewhere) is not constantly keeping watch on us, nor does he decide what will happen to us.

Daddy just gifts the car. We have to drive responsibly.

Let us take a hypothetical situation of a daddy gifting a car. If daddy gets the daughter a new car, does not the car becomes her responsibility the moment the keys are exchanged? Whatever happens with the car is her responsibility. If she runs out of gas, or runs out of control and dashes against the tree, how can daddy be held responsible.

Likewise, we are given a life with the hope that we will all lead responsible lives and lives fulfilling ours and not bringing harm to others during our stay here. But, are we doing that? If we get into trouble, due to our ignorance or otherwise, God cannot be held responsible. How can we hold God responsible for our misdeeds?

We have to understand that all our actions are tagged and taken cognizance of. If we as a race can come up with biometric and other personal tagging devices in the short span of a few hundred years (even biometrics is exploiting the technology that the creator embedded within us), it would be naive of us to imagine that the creator, who created the marvel of the human body, not have a much more sophisticated way of tracking us.

We have discussed free will elsewhere. Because, there is a question of what is free will if there is God, we will touch upon it briefly here.

What is Free will?

Free will is misunderstood by most of us. We tend to believe that fate and free will are different. It is to be understood like this.

Our fate is the result of our free will of the past. Our fate of the future will be dependent on our freewill of the present. If we decide to be good citizens of the Earth now, our fate into the future will be good.

So, when somebody says we can change our life using our freewill, he/she is intentionally or unintentionally meaning that we can change our future fate in the long term is based on our actions today and in the near future.

God is getting angry only when humans destroy nature right, left and centre, just because they can.

But, again God does not react immediately. He leaves it to impeccable nature as it is a perfect system, to maintain the checks and balances of life on Earth. I am not sure we would be even get to see God. How many of us citizens get to see the President or the Prime minister personally in our life time?

We think it would be the same in any other dimension, since they are also part of nature. And in nature, everything follows a rule.

So, why should it be any different in the case of God?

Us humans are judged individually, during and after we finish playing our game of Life. Our actions are judged after we pass.

OUR RELIGION DOES NOT MATTER. BUT, HOW WE LIVE, MATTERS.
