Why do good people get hurt, why do bad people get away with crime

The fact of life is that there are good people who get hurt and there are bad people who seem to get away with the baddest things they do in life.

This is probably one of the oft repeated questions reverberating in the minds of the believers and the non believers alike.

While the believers are upset that God is not supporting them, while for the non-believers this becomes a trump card that is used to disprove the existence of God.

The Universal Engine

Whether there is a God or not, everybody should agree that there is a system that is capable of taking care of actions and their repercussions.

People get into these arguments for and against God, should realize that there is a system of give and take in this world. Whatever you give, you will be given back later, whether you like it or not.

Similarly, whatever you take, however much you take, you will have to give back later, with interest. So, it is always better to take little; or as much you require. Never more! Because, the more you take, the more you have to return.

We can see a lot of people who are unethical, unlawful and only interested in taking hold of material possessions all through their life. We also see that these people cause a lot of hurt to a lot of people in their lives. We also see that they live their life happily, at least externally. So, we arrive at a conclusion that bad people are not being punished for being bad.

See, life in this world does not happen in black and white. There are inter related activities that are beyond the comprehension of us mortal souls.

But, whatever be our experience, as souls, we evolve through our lives. Even in bad people, we will see that they are not as bad as they were during their younger days. And the good people, get even better at the fag end of their life. Because, they realize the futility of hoarding material possessions.

But, the smart, intelligent and better off with the cosmic knowledge, stay away from such mistakes and start early in their life.

We never are in the know of the whole picture of life. We are like those blind men who described the elephant. We see parts of it and come to our own decisions. 

Whether we accept it or not, the fact remains that we play this game of life many times over, in different characters. How we play determines what our next role is. 

When we see good people get hurt, we are actually seeing bad deeds getting punished. Whether we like to accept it or not, that is the truth. Because, nature is the great leveler. It does not show partiality like man does.

What we can do is help those in need, and prevent the affected people from reacting violently and making things worse for themselves and others.
