Why do I not need a religion?

There are many religions in this world and innumerable folks who swear, maim and kill by them.

I am told that the argument is "You take my religion and my God will save you" by almost all of them.

So, on that note, when I convert to that religion, my life should change and I should over night become aware of that change.

Does that happen? No. What is the reality? There are people who belong to the poorest, not having money for the next meal class and there are those who use platinum spoons to eat their food for want of a more precious metal.

So, it becomes obvious that God alone is not the reason for the life that we lead. There is something else.

What is that something?

That something is the way we live. What nature has been telling us, and we did not listen is that "Whatever religion you follow, if you do not live in tune with nature, you are a goner".

We have examples all around us. For the sake of easy understanding, let us take the example of depositing money and taking a loan from a bank.

What happens when we deposit money? The bank gives us interest, but at a lower rate.

What happens when we take a loan? The bank demands an interest on the loan, at a higher rate and the loan amount to be repaid in full.

So, the message is clear.

Do Good Deeds. You will get returns, even if small.

Refrain from Bad Deeds. Do not think, say or do (bad?!) things that will bring harm to any being in this Planet. You will have to pay interest through your nose. And the principal too.

But, God, which religion do I follow?

Guys! I am just One. It is not my fault that you people are calling me by different names. 

You should have noticed that natural calamities, whether it is flood, drought, earthquake or tsunami, do not discriminate on religions; they only affect only individuals, based on their past actions.

Whatever religion you follow, if you have taken a loan, high interest and the principal in full, will be collected from you.

So, be within whatever religion you choose, but FOLLOW THE SIMPLE RULES OF NATURE [NO HARM TO ANY BY THOUGHT, WORD, OR DEED] from this moment onwards, Okay?
