How to make God listen to you?

When I am sincere in my efforts, when I am being good to everyone, why does God not answer my prayers? How to make God listen? That is a valid question that comes up in the minds of everyone. Why? We will try and logically find an answer to this age old question.

Let us ask ourselves a question in return, "Why does not the ABC bank pay me interest? Because, I do not have an account with the bank. Even if I did, I do not have any money deposited in my account".

On the other hand, when our balance is in the negative, not only we will not get any interest, but we will have to pay interest, until our loan is fully paid off.

Most of us have two accounts, one for savings and another for loan, so we get some interest and then also pay interest on the loans that we have taken. Hope we are clear here.

God does not answer prayers, because, we are part of this larger system. In this Universal system, what you give, you get with interest. And, what you take, you have to return with penalty. That is how it works; God is just an umpire. He does not play.

Why God does not answer my prayers?

We assume that there is a God and assume that everything happens with his knowledge and orders. What we do not agree or understand is that we are a part of a cosmic system, where everything is linked to everything.

When that realization happens within us, we will realize that God does not hate us. It is not God that allows evil. It is not God that lets bad things happen and so on.

Why do the innocent suffer?

Most people are upset when children suffer. The predominant question of people who do not agree in God is that, if God exists, why does God allow children to suffer?

All these questions are based on the belief that this life that we live here is the be all and end all of existence.

We are so attached to this body of ours that we refuse to believe that this body of ours could just be a vehicle that we reside in for so many years, like the vehicles we use to travel from one place to another.

This realization that our present lives are an extension of another life in the past and our experience in this life is a result of our actions, inactions and reactions of a past life alone, would ensure that we lead a life of morals and good ethics in this life.
