Is it true that everything happens for good?

You may want to decide about it. What we will do is lay down a few thoughts to help you arrive at a decision.

Natures process is to neutralise and even out the imbalances. So, to bring status quo, we just need to stay put.

When we go visit a restaurant, order and consume the food, the waiter finally brings in the bill. We never say, “I did not eat. So, I will not pay”.

We go to a mall; purchase clothes; when the delivery is made, we never refuse to pay the money.

We consume Internet, electricity, water and so on. We pay without a protest.

We make a deposit in the bank; the bank pays interest after sometime. We accept it gladly.

But, we get sick; we are involved in an accident and are hurt; our vehicle gets damaged; we blame God is being cruel. “I am the sweetest person in this world, but this had to happen to me. God indeed is cruel”.

This reaction is because, when we discussed about the bills and payments; both the incidents happen in the present, within a short while from each other. We remember both the incidents.

In the second case, the first incident and and the second incident (the consequence) happen far apart from each other.

Just assume another scenario, where we gave someone a loan of 10000 (without any documents) and forgot about it for five/ten years. When we remember and go later, the reaction may be “I already returned it” or “I don’t remember having taken a loan from you”.

People forget, but Nature does not. It is also not nature’s nature to be partial. It is always just and true.

So, one can safely assume, when we accept what Nature offers us in this Life, without protest, we are in for good times later.
