Why is this world so cruel?

Should we be rephrasing the question? Somehow, it doesn’t feel right.

Because, you see, if we take just one item away from this world, this world will instantly turn to Paradise.

The Problem is Only ONE

That item is the species called “Homo Sapiens”.

So, we understand, the World is not cruel. It is us humans that are the bane of this world. For most of us, it makes our blood boil, when we see the bad, worse and worst things that us humans can do to others, man, animal and other.


We do it individually, as a society and as nations.

We should also not think, just in terms of the cruelty that humans suffer; because, as masters of Earth now, it becomes our collective responsibility to take care of other beings in this planet and take care of nature.

The problem is that we do not realize, or we have not been properly told that we will get back our results based on our actions.

Education is the  Key

We have not been rightly educated, or have lost in the name of development, the ability to blend in with nature; to live as part of nature.

Some nations follow rules meticulously, but there are others where the citizens will not even follow simple traffic rules, because we do not believe or are too dumb to know, that the ball thrown above, will come back in force. We believe ONLY in our freedom.

As with anything, the change has to come from the top. [Want to explain it, but it may become political]

We need to hammer down this thought of being good, to our children, right from day one at school, till it becomes a reflex. We say school, because, even today, the teacher’s teaching takes precedence, even if the teacher teaches wrong.

It has been said that “As is the king so are the subjects”.

The Change is Happening

But, till the change comes percolates down, the good will continue to be good.
In any case, it is not time yet to be desolate. For one bad thing that we see, there are a hundred good things that we do not see that are happening.

What can we do?

The solution that is ahead of us, is to pray (prayers are not be poo pooed off; it has been recorded that group meditation has brought down crime in more than once instances) for the well-being of our family, the community, the nation and the world and the universe.

We will be able to realize that the Universe is receptive to our thoughts and will be very happy at one more soul that prays for peace and reciprocate in kind… just Spread the LOVE!
